Gifts to Share

The Kokosing Gap Trail is a volunteer-maintained park supported entirely through grants and donations. If you enjoy the Trail and would like to support our efforts, we suggest the following Gifts to Share. All contributions are tax deductible.

Unrestricted Gifts - We need day-to-day operating funds for Trail maintenance and upkeep.

Celebration and Memorial Gifts - Donations made on others’ behalf let family and friends know they are being remembered in a thoughtful way. You may give Celebration and Memorial Gifts to the Kokosing Gap Trail to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, special occasion or to express sympathy.

Path Caretaker - Your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can give. If you use the Trail often, we could use your help in picking up trash, providing reports on the condition of the Trail or perhaps lending a hand when we build special projects. Just let us know of your interest.

Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund - We have an Endowment Fund within The Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County to help us down the road. Your gift will always be working, as only the interest will be used for future Trail maintenance.

If you would like to donate to this fund, please make your check out to The Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County and send it to Post Office Box 1270, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 with the notation “Kokosing Gap Trail”.
